
Transportation Driver
Independent Contractor – 1099
Provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for seniors, adults, nonprofit participants, and other clients throughout North Texas — appointments, work, shopping, and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from scheduled destinations
- Arrive on time for all pickups and drop-offs
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate
- Follow approved routes and maintain communication with Care Crew
- Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and conduct routine inspections
- Keep accurate mileage and trip records; follow all traffic laws
Vehicle Requirements
- Four-door vehicle, no more than 15 model years old (unless approved)
- Functioning A/C and heating; working seat belts for all passengers
- Free from significant body damage; clean interior and exterior
- Passes required safety inspection; safe tire tread
- No salvage, rebuilt, or flood-title vehicles
Insurance & Documentation
- Current personal auto insurance meeting state minimums
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle registration
- Authorization for Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Successful background screening
